I'm joking around. i'm not worried about 15.x Yes I have a direct reading amp gauge but it only goes to 30 amps. I dont crank the amps all the way up, I have done about 25. Today I started with the PD on 14.4 and then charge with the mega when the amps came down to 10 or so. Don't get too excited about the Mega as it's got that smell to it already. When I first got it I cranked it all the way up but it got hot and smelled so I backed off.
It seems to do ok as long as it's not maxed out all the time. When the PD is at 14.x and the amps are coming down I figure it's time to help it out. So, I would bet if I cranked the Mega all the way, there would be 2 guys littering the lake. So they cant take the heavy amps but are good for high volts and that's what my PD cant do. But then, Mex kept saying top charge/equalize after amps are down to 5 or 6 if I remember correctly.
I like the Quick Charger battery charger. No muss, no fuss but the real story wont be told until I hit the road.
I will probably end up with solar next year to top off after the heavy generator work.
