MEXICOWANDERER

I find it hard to believe those fried transistors are the cat's --- for capacity.
A cheap, dirty and fast way to cure the issue is to spend 22.95 multiple times. You know like TEN of them would cost a whopping two hundred ninety five dollars. Five nine ninety five Shottkeys and you gotcha a 300 amp charger. The problem is generator capacity.
Regarding health in late 2011 I drove 1,700 miles with my left arm pinned together with big ugly hooks sticking out of my wrist. So a bone graft, cataract surgery, spinal fusion and cardiac ablation does not intimidate me. 10 days in a Mexican hospital with someone near death (he didn't make it) in the next bed gave me some perspective about just how insignificant my health issues really are. Adversity only makes a person stronger.
But I am in a bad position here to try and help Landyacht. All my reference books are back home. A hard two day's drive will put me at the doorstep of Scripps medical center. It's an insane 5 day marathon from Las Penas just to Arizona and then several hundred miles west on I-8 to San Diego.
More importantly, are those damned transistors. That's it? Nothing better?
Should be at the border on the 5th or 6th. Nervous. Too many freakin' gringos. I wish hotels in gringolandia cost the same as hotels down here. I wouldn't mind putting the raid on some surplus electronic stores - but we'll have to see.
