Whatever happened to your postings in ancient times about using a simple high-wattage 120V AC input reostat and some heat sunk high-wattage diodes to make a dirt cheap ultra-reliable 0-16 volt infinite stage DC charger for RV jugs!!

I really liked that manual bullet proof approach to things - it employed the K.I.S.S. principle to the max.
