Mex, it's about scaleability. I have always been on the lower end of the totem pole here with a tiny 21 foot travel trailer, traveling solo, no hair dryers, no electric blankets, no 600w inverter, and a single 150 amp Trojan 12V battery.
My needs are unique, only to me... I don't use much, therefore I don't have to recharge much. The Mega Watt, for me, and for my purposes only, does not seem to be overdriven. Mainly because I don't deplete my battery that deeply. I want to keep it above 60 to 65% SOC before I start recharging it. I wish to get to 97 or 98 or 99% SOC daily with the value added portable solar panel system to supplement the Mega Watt.
It would be rare for my megawatt unit to be overdriven, with my configuration currently. If it does go poof, I will chalk it up to being nothing more than a steep learning curve, or a shorted battery that a few dips with a Freas that I should have seen coming.
