You apparently do not understand I do not want to babysit the dang thing as depleted battery voltage rises. I did two tests finding its limits, and one pushing it past the limit.
I want a power supply that can protect itself from the demands a depleted battery can place on it. The cheapowatt aint it. The Megawatt might be, Certain versions of he Mean well, Likely are.
i'm not suggesting you baby sit it..or any other PS
IF.. it can not self limit to the 350w rating then its not useable
what i understood you to have said ..was that it did 30amps into the battery, but you were not happy with the voltage
you adjusted the voltage up,, and the amps went up, then the output was to much wattage and the unit died
you wanted to maintain amps ?
if i have miss understood, then i'm sorry for the mistake
either it could safely supply 350w or it could not
i do agree that as a 350w supply it should (as example) supply 35amps at 10v or 23amps at 15v
you raised the voltage the amps became too high, watts went up and so did the blue smoke
PS @ Mexi..i do not consider a CB a baby sitting device...and neither do you... it is a safety..and will save equipment that might be unintentionally abused
