Any EE worth their salt keeps an ear on the rails. Hypothesis is one factor. An EE merely understands how to find the ball park, it takes testing and analysis to find the right seat. A so-called novice, armed with real life testing and data trumps an EE degree so bad it is embarrassing. When the novice's testing and data recording is finished THEN an EE can step in and offer clues as to how when where and why. An EE who does all of the calisthenics from design to testing and analysis carries weight. As with most of the technical posts on this site I can merely sit back and ponder the data.
Without your testing and verification, personally I can only guess at performance and relevancy of application. I hope you understand this.
