Watched charging V at Meanwell studs reach 14.8, my preset. Watched batt V climb to 14.6 and then slow considerably. AC draw at that point was .9a.
At that point a light bulb went on above my head. Actually eight of them, LED bulbs which I'd had on the entire duration of this experiment, drawing directly from the batts. I thought of this when I ran the 10a DC fresh water pump for a few minutes. Of course the batts aren't going to reach 14.8V!
Conclusion: I'm unhooking the Meanwell and going for a hike. I'll leave it to better minds to parse the data and/or harrumphf.
