It seems that electric vehicles have a couple standards for charging stations but the ones that are free (like Volta) likely have a J1772 plug. It'd be great to just get 30A out of it. Anyone seen any...

Actually even a fossil fuel plant is cleaner powering an electric vehicle than burning gasoline/diesel in the combustion engine. Last I read large combined cycle plant was 60% efficient and gas/diesel was about 35%. Of course everyone seems OK running lights and air conditioners at home but get all crazy when transportation comes in play. Run a diesel generator to power your home and see that goes.
