I have had to wait 2 days to talk to the Fantastic people. And then I got the same lady twice. She only knows what her manual tells her; she does not know how the fan really works. She does not know anything about the circuit board. I am thinking that the knowledgeable Fantastic techs are no longer working there.
If the circuit board only controls the opening/closing of the dome, then I am okay. Then the board does not have any thermal protection of the fan.
Now the most likely curlpert is the 3 way switch. It has power going to it, but not coming out of it. However, the 3 way switch has a wire to the circuit board.
