Just to reiterate, if a person were to purchase a complete fan from Fantastic Fan individual parts and do it yourself assembly it would cost over a thousand dollars. This is NOT the same company as it once was. I am determined to find a brushless dual ball bearing fan motor that will fit the housing and blades. As good as Fantastic thinks their fan is, efficiency-wise, a good permanent magnet fan motor would use a third less power or maybe even half and last 10 years or more. I have a PABST fan that uses less amperage and blows a hell of a lot harder than the Fantastic. But it is single-speed.
