Fantastic fan doesn't run on higher speeds ????

I put my 5th wheel away last fall with no issues. I put the Fantastic fan wireless remote in the drawer. When I took it out of storage this spring, I found the batteries in the remote to be dead....

Too much guesswork here...

remote may be bad. Why it drained the batteries. I have used a floor fan with the identical motor for many thousands of hours day and night, so the thought of you having a "bad motor" raises my eyebrows.
