Fantastic Vent Wind Noise while Driving

Question

I have a new Fantastic Vent in my 2005 Chinook that has a lot of wind noise while driving.

The Maxx Air fans seem to have a better design with two arms to hold down the lid tightly.

Has anyone in a motorized RV tried to use a vent cover that goes over the whole assembly to quiet it down?

I used the original ones.  I use two of the "Original Maxxair" shown here over my Fantastic fans.I put them on in 2007 and they are working perfect to this day.LeRoy

The new Maxx Air Fan Mate 955 would work I have no problem with my Fantastic Fan,no noise. I like the clips,they make it easy to open and clean the vent cover,unlike the others that you have to unbolt to clean or replace the vent lid Maxx Air Fan Mate
