Oh my, you got me concerned that I was wrong so I just went down to check my Slime gauge. I checked a tire and the pressure was displayed for over 30 seconds, at which point I put it back in the drawer. It stays displayed until you check another tire, or it times out which seems to be around a minute.
Yeah, the if you hit the On button too many times it cycles through the different way of measuring pressure. The pressure display will stay through the cycles though, so no harm done.
