I will not even guess how you need to twist your hand to use it in different valve positions.
Left or right hand does not matter. Push the button and wait for zero. Press onto the valve stem and pull away. The reading will hold on the display so you can stare at it for 30 seconds and contemplate the full meaning. No need to be a contortionist either.
If you need a long rod to reach the stem this item will not work well for you.
