(Last year Can Tire had a similar one for the same price that was 7a/105w, so this year you get more controller for your $20 :) )
That ASC controller is a Shunt type on-off. I had one and it worked well. I prefer the Series type for its 3 stage charging profile for longer term use (more than a few weeks off-grid) but the batteries don't mind as long as they get some amps in.
