You see these solar kits for sale at the various hardware stores etc. Just an outrageous rip-off! Like this one--60w for $399!!!!

So then they will put it in their flyer on sale for $100 off that and even more suckers will fork over their money.
It is not even funny really. I saw a guy the other day who camps at our campground (don't know him) who just got one of these 60w things and was setting it up with help from another "expert" camper.
The thing is this guy is in his 60s or 70s and still wears overalls "work clothes" and looks real beat up from working hard all his life and now he is Rving as best he can. No doubt has a small fixed pension from the mill. If that.
It is not always like it is just throw away money for buyers who could care less and just want some more toys.
Of course then there is that 130w panel for $600 I saw in another store recently. Don't get me started on those $1,100 kits! :(
The problem is most folks don't know about the "real solar places" and how cheap you can get stuff, so these popular stores are able to get away with anything.
