Feel dirty by asking... Generic MPPT solar CCs?

I feel a tad dirty, but curiosity does kill the cat here. I've been noticing a few relatively cheap 20-40 amp MPPT controllers from China, sold at either ebay shops, or places like mppsolar.com. T...

No, and very little electronics either. That's why Chinese hacks were able to hack the market, so that we all can enjoy bottom rock prices now, even for a good stuff. What will happen when good stuff disappears due to higher production cost - I don't know.

Controllers are more complicated, making a decent clone isn't easy. As others noted, they often are lacking features of more expensive units.
