Strange that, anybody in the window industry will tell you that if you use 'regular' spray foam insulation to fill in the void between a window and the framing it will expand so much it will bow the window frame and jam the window so bad it won't open and close.
You'd wonder why they'd bother making expanding and non-expanding if it didn't matter?
OK. Looked into this a bit further as I never had the expansion foam cause issue... maybe I had low expansion and didn't realize it. As you state, there are signs that expansion foam can cause some issues with building pressure so I've changed my post you got this quote from, thx.
