I too am inclined to question the claim of "Clean" water in this country. I won't go into why however. (But then neither did the last poster).
I run a home made active charcoal filter for the Whole house and a PUR pitcher for drinking. If you do not wish to home brew then a big multi stage from Lowe's is my recommendation. Put the filter as CLOSE TO THE RV's water inlet as you can get it (mine lies inside the wet bay out of the sun) you want to filter out the taste of the hose as well.
