Finally Found A 48-SMD 12-Volt Panel

The description says 240lm not 270lm. I got 500+lm from Command Electronics a few years ago for a lot more money. I see Command doesn't sell them anymore, they weren't competitive with the cut rate China direct sellers.

I'm pretty sure a 921 is around 240lm - 250lm.

I think mine are half the lumen output and yet they are plenty bright for camping.
Excellent price.

Might be just me but to my age ravaged eyeballs, the light output from a 921 competes with a fire fly.

Each of mine is pretty much equal in brightness to a 921 bulb. About .40 to .45 amp vs 1.5 amps each bulb

I have tried the eBay 48 chip models years ago and they were around half as bright as these. These little monsters are rated at 270 lumens and for the life of me, I think they really put out 270 lumens. The companies lie about supposed specs so much only real world eyeball comparison works for me.

I bought those on Ebay in 10x lots for $18.00 for 10, a couple of years back. I like /prefer mixing a 3300k with a 5700k per 2 bulb light fixture, for a more natural, less yellow color.

Mex - Those type boards are what Ihave been using since 2009... i tried a bunch of the higher cost items and all of those would generate RFI and interfered with my radio ops... Finally got those led boards and run them in my ceiling light. I paid alot more than you find however... $4.99 a board from ebay/china haha... My board were rated for 12-14VDC and I was concerned I might blow some LEDs when my setup went to bulk charging of using 14.4VDC. Since 2009 I may three or fours groups of three leds off in the boards. I bought ten extra boards to replace the one that might burn out me - still got ten new ones in a box waiting to be used...

About the only problem I have over the years is the sticky tape losing it grip and the boards dropping down inside the light fixture. I just get some more doublesided sticky tape and all is good for another many moons.

Since I had a bunch of higher cost boards I did come up with a multi-switch ceiling lamp assy. It would turn on ONE or BOTH lamps. I put the cheap $4.99 in the ONE POSITION and the higher dollar one in the other position. Then I could just turn on one lamp that didn't interfere with my ham radios when I was playing my my ham radio items...

I guess my boards were the 36 LED boards... These were plenty bright for me...
