Finding Studs Behind Exterior Aluminum Siding

Haven't tried it but how about splashing hot water in the area you want to find the stud. Would it be possible to move the rig out from under the cover for a night?

Knuckle knock method.

You might be able to hear the difference when you tap along the wall. Works on the house when looking for studs, hopefully works on the rig.

Move it outdoors.

I have heard of that method but my trailer is not being used and stored under cover so you don't get those temperature changes...
