I had really thought about pre-ordering one of these when they first showed up on the market for the killer pre-order price, but after thinking about it, my twins will do just fine.

We BD almost exclusively and if one of the gens fail, which happened a couple of years ago, I still have the other as a backup to keep the batts charged and run the microwave. If the price came back down to close to pre-order, I'd snap one up and take one of the 2000i's as a backup.
