fixing small hole in sewer pipe

I have a very small leak, about 3/16 or less, on my drain pipe coming from the black water tank. The hole looks like it was caused by someone running a screw underneath to hold the cover on the belly. It is located on the side but still leaks liquids when emptying my black tank. Anyone know of anything that I can use to seal it up or if the Eternabond tape would work on this.

Just fill it with ABS glue. It might need a few applications over a period of about five minutes, but it will definitely be sealed properly.

Actually that's not a bad idea if you have some black ABS glue lying around. That stuff is thick and dries rock hard. I've used it to repair small cracks in ABS pipe. Just apply a few layers and build it up.
  • I did some ABS repair with ground up ABS pipe from the hardware store. I bought a short piece and cut it into strips for welding. Then ran a couple strips through a pencil sharpener to make powder for filling cracks or making larger patches. Used the powder and ABS glue to fill a hole in a motorcycle fairing. A piece of super sticky duct tape created a backing and it could pool. Took a LONG time to dry out though and I had to make multiple layers. The repair held, though.
