tHE REASON IS YOU ARE NOT SAYING WHAT YOU NEED IT FOR,
My pump is difficult to get to. Winterizing is a pain. I want to move the winterizing connection from the pump to a more convenient spot. The most cost effective way to do this seems to be to use an extension hose and a MPT nipple. Then, to winterize, de-winterize I don't need to get to the pump fitting, just to the nipple the connects the original hose and the extension. From a hookup perspective this is exactly the same as using a sureflow pump silencing kit.

OEMs often use the Oetiker clamps with barbed fittings- they are not really sized for that, but it works, usually. ShurFlo also has barbed swivel fittings that work well.
The OEM must have some special hose. I assume the Oetiker clamps with barbed fittings are for PEX tube. I compared the nylon tube at Home Depot with the PEX tube and fitting. The OD of the nylon tube was larger than the PEX as was the ID. The PEX fittings where really sloppy in the 1/2" ID tubing.

Shurflo RV Fittings
Thank you. I was on their site and missed this. I'm a little paranode of plastic fittings, but maybe that's not very rational since the pump and existing fittings are all plastic. I figured I'd update as a replaced stuff.
I assume that you just use a standard worm hose clamp with these fittings?
I also found that the DO offer a 36" hose as well:
