The charging perimeters for the AGM can be plus or minus .25 volts without any issues. What most sellers and even the manufacturers usually don't tell you is that an AGM must be charged to 100% every time it is discharged and recharged. Every time you don't do that, you shorten the life of the battery. I often have been asked to troubleshoot AGM batteries that are 1 year old or less and will no longer hold a charge or will discharge in a short period of time. In almost every case it was due to improper charging and the manufacturer will not cover the battery under warranty. Sometimes the seller will take them back and sometimes they won't. If the battery is brought up to 13.8 and then maintained at 13.2 for a short period of time, the damage is lessened. If it's only brought up to 13.2 in the charging cycle, it isn't going to be fully charged. Chuck
