- SalvoExplorerThanks for the info. Got this kit from Amazon and make new gaskets by tracing out one from kit. No more paper gaskets. The new ones got some beef to them.
BTW, the most difficult part in cutting out gaskets can be the bolt holes. I place the gasket material on a piece of wood and drill the holes out. Very simple.
- Executive45Explorer IIII bought a roll of gasket material at NAPA and made my own for about $5..makes about 100 gaskets. If you don't need to rebuild it, go that way.......Dennis
- Big_KatunaExplorer III rebuild mine every other year.
The impeller always has a broken vane or two and the others are cracked.
Get the kit, take it apart, clean it and put it back together. - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIYou can purchase the rebuild kit....2 flat fiber gaskets, the impeller, o-ring and lube for $19.50
BUT just the gaskets......haven't seen any 'just gaskets'
