Flojet Portable Macerator - disconnect each time?

The instructions that came with the unit say "do not mount permanently to the RV Waste Port." This makes me wonder, if I am at a relative's house for a couple of months, is there any problem with lea...

I don't think I would want that weight hanging on the bracket for a long period of time myself.
Incidentally I was looking at these and noticed a clear/small hose on it that looked like a grey water bypass but didn't see any valve/shut off, etc. and was wondering how it worked?
