Flojet Portable Macerator - disconnect each time?

The instructions that came with the unit say "do not mount permanently to the RV Waste Port." This makes me wonder, if I am at a relative's house for a couple of months, is there any problem with lea...

I am not aware of a "clear/small hose" on the pumps. Maybe mine is too old to have it?

There is a connection to allow a water hose for flushing the tanks. The shut-off valve in the photo screws into it. I added the clear extension.
