Flojet Portable Macerator - disconnect each time?

The instructions that came with the unit say "do not mount permanently to the RV Waste Port." This makes me wonder, if I am at a relative's house for a couple of months, is there any problem with lea...

the one at my dealer had a clear, about 1 inch hose in a position that looked like it bypassed the impeller. but there was no apparent shut off or open up thingy that I could see.

looked at them on line but I probably saw a sanicon. yep it was a SANICON WASTE SYSTEM - TWIST-ON W/GRAY WATER BYPASS - 21FT..
