I have 300 AH/300 Watt solar and glad I do. 400 AH would be even better. My only issue is when camped in winter with low sun and in a deep canyon, is limited sun exposure. In that case I'm glad I can hit the batteries with 45 amps from the power converter and generator in the morning. I've had no issue with forced air furnace and keeping batteries sufficiently charged-and without extensive generator time. Not in super cold, but in 20 low-50 high temp scenarios. I generally sleep at night with the thermostat set to about 60.
