Shouldn't be any problems. Magnum inverters are VERY high quality, proven units.
With things electronic, it is almost certain that anything 12 years old is functionally obsolete compared with newer units. I wouldn't repair a 12 yr-old inverter any more than I would a 12 yr old TV or computer.
