Freezer to cold
Any ideas as to why the freezer would start getting so cold that the food inside bags have started icing up. Have cut it down as low as possible without causing refrigerator from getting to warm.....H...

Having to defrost freezer is a different issue than your original post about icing of food in storage bags.
Excessive frost build up is due to opening freezer door frequently and window shopping OR the door seals are leaking allowing warm air to be pulled in.
