fresh water gauge intermittent

Fresh water gauge on my 02 Winnebago Sightseer only works every now and then. It is zeroed out most of the time. Every now and then it will give a true read. I suspect a loose connection somewhere. It has a big water tank under the bed so I have easy access. What should I look for?

    Very often on smaller wires, like on your sensors, the crimps aren't very good. I usually take them off whatever they are attached to inspect everything for corrosion and than tug on the wire/connector. No more then 4 lbs pull. Sometimes the terminal just slides right off.

    A loose wire connection, at the tank and at the monitor panel itself.
