Fridge ??
Just bought this 2004 and fridge was working, decided to take out on a 1st run camp trip fridge not working. It is a Danetic?? and has power ,when switched to gas can hear gas lightup. All fuses good....

WHY? He stated it is 13 years old and it was WORKING when he purchased it. HOW long should anybody give a warranty on a USED purchase? Should NOT make any difference if it is a DEALER or private Party. If it was working when he picked it up, it is HIS problem now. Doug

if he bought it a few days ago from a shop/dealer
he has a reasonable exception for the appliances to work
barring leaving it on in a NON-level condition
AS-IS purchase is only good to the edge of the lot.
I would speculate the contract is very clear.
If the OP had a 10 day warranty or 1 year warranty, that would also be very clear.
Frankly though I would have a different dealer do the swap. Just because I would be a bit miffed also.
If the cooling unit is not actually leaking... I have read posts where people turn it upside down for a few days to 'burp' the thing and it starts working again. Worth a go.
