Dry camping this weekend at Martinsville Speedway. Went to turn the fridge on, no 12v power (no control, no fridge light). Did a little poking around the back of the unit testing voltage and found 12v...

Thermal cutout disc....red wires Dometic Recall to trip DC power to fridge if high temp sensed due to cracked boiler tube. It is a safety device and if tripping you should check for yellow residue around burner area...
IF with a proper flame fridge will not cool down (or even on electric) if cooling unit is cracked/leaked.
So bypassing the Thermal Cutout could be dangerous due to overheating
Dometic RV Fridge Flame.....they are NOT big roaring flames. MAIN Flame is small....no pilot flame used
