I'm assuming you mean running on propane while traveling. I have ran my fridge on propane while traveling on the last 2 rigs I've owned with no problems whatsoever.
Sounds like some sort of electrical issue if continually blowing fuses. I say get a different service guy.
I have a lot of RV friends from various clubs I'm associated with and all of those have 2 way fridges and travel long distances on propane with no issues.
