Old Biscuit, the fuse trips when moving and on propane. Fridge doesn't ever trip if stationary, regardless of propane or electric.
It only trips if we're on the road over an hour.
We drive speeds 55-60. Never over.
OK now we have some real information.......
The thermofuse measures 'stack' temp only.......regardless if heat is generated by electric heat element or propane flame.
When stationary no excess heat/temp being detected by thermofuse.
BUT when moving higher than normal temp IS being detected.
That suggests propane flame is hotter and probably higher in flue.
Hotter flame occurs with higher gas pressures OR excess air
While moving it sounds like more air than normal (excess air) is being supplied (forced) into burner causing flame to be hotter and possibly extending up into flue.
Dometic makes an Air Baffle Kit for burner area.
Usually for problems with flame being blown out while in transit (due to windy conditions)
It will limit the amount of air allowed into combustion area which should resolve the excess air you have
HERE is one place that sells kit
OK.....thought you were 'resetting' cause you keep getting fridge to work.
Now I see you are 'jumpering' it........not a good idea.
BUT still think reason is due to excess wind blowing into burner area causing a 'lean' flame which is a hotter flame.
