Your clicky didn't work for me. We do have a flue baffle. We are going to try and install an upper baffle but there's no place to secure it.
It's raining right now, so it'll have to wait a bit for a fitting. The part that Dometic sent is 5" too long. They said "just cut it". Okay, will do.
Will let you know how it goes. Can't wait to take a trip.
OB- you've been very helpful! Thanks so much.
Fixed 'clicky' (oops!)
Air Baffle Kit goes on lower vent cover plus around burner area.
It prevents wind currents from getting into burner area.
Baffle you have is for directing air flow (draft) up thru/across cooling unit. IT will have NO affect on excess air getting into burner area.
It may help with fridge temps....better draft across cooling unit means better fridge temps BUT will NOT keep the thermal-fuse from tripping due to high temp in stack.
(Stack is insulated, covered with metal and is not affected by air temps in the outside compartment.
The 'stack' temp inside the burner area which thermal-fuse senses is affected by how hot flame is (OR overheating due to lack of ammonia coolant flow from blockage.......works OK on electric/propane while not moving----no blockage)
Check out LINK
Really think flame is getting HOT because it is LEAN from too much air while in transit
