I hope this works. You've all been so great. So much more helpful than "the"professionals". I'll try to find info on manufacturer. It says Dometic. Paperwork/manual states ammonia filled, not helium. How to we find out the contrary?
All use ammonia......changes were made in the gas.
Hydrogen was standard.
Helium has been used as replacement.....same 'heat sink' properties but non-flammable
Atwood has a couple helium models
You would need to contact Dometic with Model/Serial Number for info. as to the type of cooling unit used
