Chris, you are SO right! Ours is a Siegen. No wonder the upper baffle wouldn't fit properly. We attached at the very upper top , not where it stated for the U.S. version.
Thank you for the pictures. No wonder our manual pictures didn't match our fridge. Makes sense now.
Will this make it more difficult if we need work done? We've already lost confidence in the 2 closest service people.
It cools quickly and works great (when the fuse doesn't blow).
Like so many of you we're learning to do our own maintenance/repairs. I didn't expect to need to learn about refrigerators.
