fridge level?

I searched and didn't find an answer...

My Class C is parked in my yard, waiting for the concrete guy to pour a pad. It's level front to back, but about 3 degree slope side to side of the RV. This means that the refrigerator is level left to right, as you stand looking at it, and off from front to back. I know the coil basically zig zags left to right, but it won't be vertically plumb.

Is it OK to run the fridge in this situation? I just need to cool it down before a trip.

I'd do a bit of leveling.

X2. As mentioned above, a couple of boards should get you less than 2 degrees which is recommended.
  • If sure of degree out of level, probably okay. but it can't be too hard to just put a couple boards down on the low side, to remove any concern. It should be easy to move a C ahead/back a little, if in running condition to take a trip soon.

  • Up to three degrees side to side and up to six degrees front to back is fine with newer Norcold RV fridges.
