Side note....also when it does stop cooling the fan in the back of the unit that normally cycles on and off will run all the time...Possible clue?
The fan runs off the temp of the condenser fins. IF the back side of the upper refer is HOT, then the fan will run until the condenser fins are cool again. May have asked already. Is this in a slide room? Have you tried moving the 120 element to the next element sleeve? Also, If in my shop, I would be getting a voltage/amp reading of the 120 element to make sure the CORRECT wattage element is installed. Is it possible you have the WRONG wattage Heat element in the refer(Too high of wattage)? Since it operates correctly on LP but not on 120, I would suspect the wrong heat element. If you pull the element you can read the wattage and P/N on the element. Doug
