The converter on my trailer is bad. I don't want to burn through my propane till we are camping.
Can I unplug the fridge from the outlet on the trailer and plug it straight into the wall socket of my house 120v AC.
Nope, it needs 12 volts for the controls to work. The issue is not the 120 volts, it's the 12.
There is no difference between plugging into 120V in your house and the 120V that is supplied through the trailer when plugged into shore. It has nothing to do with your converter.
If you need to power the converter off, then unplug it!
What is the state of your battery? If that is charged you would be OK, but you need a way to KEEP it charged. Battery charger maybe?
Edit - I guess I type slow - Corkey05 beat me to it!
