ANY refer in a slide room NEEDS the rear fan/s operating to cool correctly. The design of the 2 sidewall vents instead of a roof vent means that the hot convection air cannot easily flow out the upper sidewall vent. Also, the baffles for the slide design is critical to make sure the air flows up the thru the condenser fans and OUT that door. Just having a fan blowing UP is not enough. It is best to have 2 fans. The original that blows air up thru the condenser and the 2nd mounted just inside that upper door to force the hot air OUT that door. Doug
