Old Biscuit - this model doesn't have a thermostor that can be slid up and down the fins. I have had that style on previous RVs
Joe - I failed to mention that I am using shore power, not gas.
I agree that it is mostly likely an issue with air flow. However, it ran cool temps at night in moderate temps even with the fans not running. The fans run during the day, as they have in the past, when it's warm enough outside. They have usually not run at night even during the summer when it's moderate temps. I find I'm constantly changing the temp settings (there are three levels) but at night, even n the coolest setting it was getting than it should.
