fridge

my fridge is not working there is power to the plug were the fridge is pluged in but there is no lights on on the switch

    Also, how much of those 12V you are getting. Could be partial loss of contact, i.e. 11.5V instead of 12V, due to shorted/corroded wire or whatever. Take a multimeter and measure the DC voltage right where it goes into the fridge.
  • OK it's a Dometic Brand but which MODEL?

    Whether running on AC electric or Propane the fridge requires good 12V DC power for controls.

    So you checked AC outlet for power....now you need to check that you have 12V DC power.....blown fuse, battery disconnect switch ON etc.

    Does anything else 12V DC work?
    Water pump, furnace, lights

    Which Model is that Dometic?
  • domitic its a 2007 modle trailer i was thinking of a poor 12 volt conection i was going to replace and clean up the grounds the postive cable thats conect to the battery is not in the best condion ill try that
  • The fridge requires 12vdc in addition to either 120vac or propane.
