Front a/c and heat not working

I picked up a brand new jayco alante 31v from Albany rv we had a BS walk through and left. I just went to check the A/c and the front unit and heat and sure enough they dont work. Seems like there's no power to the thermostat. I reset the the furnace switch and still nothing. Fuse is good so I'm stumped. No plans to bring back to that dealership so I'm hoping someone can help. Rear A/c works fine.
  • Was the front air conditioner running when you the "BS" walk through?

Not to undermine your intelligence or anything, but did you flip the breaker switch at the power panel for the air conditioner? I have found on my 5er, there is one breaker that sometimes, somehow, flipps to off when traveling. All I have to do is flip it off and back on again. This happened twice over the last year, same breaker.

I'm assuming your front air conditioner is an air conditioner and heat-pump combined. If yours is a digital thermostat where you push buttons, it's possible you may be in "auto" mode and it's neither hot or cold enough to activate. Also, there is a delay with hose electronic thermostats. Sometimes, it takes 30 - 45 seconds when flipping on the air or the heat pump before it starts running. Just saying, have you been patient enough and waited after flipping it on?

    Let us know what happens.
