Furnace fails to ignite

Hi everyone,
I have a 2015 Coachman 27QBC which has a standard furnace installed. I have only used this unit about a dozen times - 100%. But. Now the units fan will turn on, try to ignite 3 times then shut down...especially in cold weather!!
During testing to determine cause the unit will ignite at random but generally during 80+ f ambient temperature.
The deep cycle is new and charged and the propane is full.
Any suggestions as to what will fix this would be appreciated.
Thanks

  • Could be you are at too high of an altitude and not enough oxygen in the air for the furnace to stay lit.
  • Could also be the gas igniter has moved out of position, just a smidge and she won't light. That's a fun one.

Unless you are pretty inclined mechanically take it to someone who knows what they are doing. Propane gas and electricity are a explosive combo to diagnose and fix!
  • sounds like a propane supply issue.
switch out the tank for another and try again.
  • The make and model of the furnace would help us. Try unplugging the 4-wire connection at the igniter board and the wire on the high voltage coil and reconnecting them 2-3 times to quick clean any corrosion on the contacts. The flame sensor works at millivolt levels and it takes very little corrosion to interrupt it.
