First check you CO detector is working and has fresh batteries.
Furnace probably needs to come out for disassembly and inspection. My guess you have some type of animal or nest in or on the firebox, cracked fire box or misaligned or faulty exhaust port. Restricted vent may also cause overheating of the fire box.
