Perhaps you do not understand how a RV furnace works, which is different than a conventional house furnace. In a RV, first the fan will come on, blowing cold air. After several minutes (which seems like forever when expecting hot air), the burner will ignite and the air in the vents slowly warms. After the RV has warmed up to the thermostat setting, the burner will shut off and the air in the vents will cool until the blower shuts off.
